FAQ
How do I order custom grillz?+
Two ways. In Austin, book a 3D scan in our studio — quickest and most accurate. Anywhere else in the US, order a mold kit through our Etsy. We ship it to you, you take the impression at home, mail it back, and we build from there.
How long does it take?+
Production runs 2–3 weeks from the date we receive your scan or mold. Heavy diamond work and full custom sets can add another 1–2 weeks. Rush requests — message us before ordering.
How much do grillz cost?+
Pricing is based on the daily gold market plus labor. A single 10kt tooth starts around $150, a six top or bottom in 10kt is around $900, and iced-out work runs about $400 per tooth depending on design. Final quote comes after consultation.
What's the difference between 10kt, 14kt and gold-plated?+
10kt and 14kt are solid gold — they hold polish, hold stones, and hold value. We don't do gold-plated. Plated grillz wear off in months and tarnish against the teeth.
Do you require a deposit?+
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to start any custom piece. It covers the consultation, 3D design, and reserves your slot in production. The deposit applies to the final price.
Are custom orders refundable?+
No. Custom grillz are final sale once production has started — every piece is built to your exact teeth and spec, so it can't be resold. We'll send renderings for approval before we cut metal.
How do I take my own mold at home?+
Our Etsy kit ships with dental-grade putty, a tray sized to your bite, and step-by-step instructions. Most people get a perfect mold on the first try. If it doesn't come out clean, message us — we'll send a replacement.
Will my grillz fit perfectly?+
Yes. Each piece is built from your scan or impression and snaps on securely. If the fit isn't right when you receive it, send it back — we'll adjust or remake it.
Can I eat or drink with them in?+
Take them out before eating. Liquids are fine in small amounts, but food gets trapped and damages both the grill and your teeth. Always brush before putting them back in.
How do I clean and care for them?+
Rinse after each wear. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and warm water — no toothpaste, no harsh chemicals. Store in the case we ship them in. Bring them by the studio for a free polish anytime.

Do you offer payment plans?+
On larger custom and iced-out sets, yes. Message us with what you're after and we'll work out a plan.
